RBS adjusts remortgage rates
RBS is to increase the rates on four First Active remortgage products, two fixed rates and two discounts.
Changes to the two and three-year products will take effect from Monday 18 February, whereby the fixed rates will increase by 0.10 per cent and the discounts by 0.15 per cent.
The arrangement fees for the discount products will however be reduced to £499 from £799.
Details are as follows:
* Online only two-year fixed rate (max LTV 75 per cent) will increase to 5.69 per cent from 5.59 per cent with a £999 arrangement fee until 30 April 2010.
* Two-year fixed rate (max LTV 75.01-95 per cent) will increase to 5.79 per cent from 5.69 per cent with a £999 arrangement fee until 30 April 2010.
*Two-year discount rate (max LTV 95 per cent) will increase to 5.99 per cent from 5.74 per cent with a £499 arrangement fee until 30 April 2010.
*Three-year discount rate (max LTV 95 per cent) will increase to 5.99 per cent from 5.74 per cent with a £499 arrangement fee until 30 April 2010.
